Revisiting the Phillips curve for Indonesia: What can we learn from regional data?

This study revisits the Phillips curve for Indonesia using regional data, exploiting cross-province variation in inflation and economic slack to re-examine the inflation–unemployment trade-off. The regional perspective offers new evidence on the strength and stability of the Phillips curve relationship in an emerging economy and its implications for monetary policy.
